Serious About Fitness 5K Run/Walk (with optional fitness challenge at the end) is a hand timed event. Participants will park at Serious About Fitness (located on 95th St 1 block away from the Bert Gillman/Sammamish River Trail entry) and walk down to the starting line at the trails entry point. Runners and walkers will enjoy a quick out and back on the trail measured to be a 5K distance...for those people still pumped up, Serious About Fitness trainers will be offering a fun 15 minute fitness challenge/circuit in the gym (or outside depending on the weather). The fitness challenge is optional and can be as hard as you want it to be, or as easy as you need it to be...something fun and new to try!
Each participant will have a registered bib for tracking and course monitoring purposes and can purchase a Serious About Fitness tek fabric shirt any time during the event. This event is meant to be fun but also a chance for people to get out and test themselves in an organized event...and of course can finish with a little workout if they please!

Participants in this fun, un-timed event will run or walk a 5K (3.1 mile) course along the scenic Sammamish River Trail. Serious About Fitness training team will start and/or finish the 5K with a boot camp style circuit for more challenging fun.
The run will include some stairs and a few surprises.
